About The Lazy Reader

Hi! I'm Madeleine, a 28-year-old freelance writer and virtual assistant by day and a bookworm by
night.

One known fact about me is that I love to read. I've been reading books since I was a kid. I would go to my late aunt's house and read the books in her shelf all day long.

With the exception of drama and horror, I read books in just about any genre. These days, though, I prefer romance - young adult and new adult mostly.

My favorite romance authors are C.M. Owens and Penny Reid. Their books are automatic buy for me. For non-romance, there's always  J.K. Rowling (proud Potterhead here!) and Dan Brown.

Anyway, I read 3 to 5 books a week. I read during spare time and sometimes, even on my not-so-spare time. Like I said, I love reading.

As for this blog, I've always wanted to have a book review blog. So a couple weeks, I went ahead and created one. I'm not a professional book reviewer and I don't intend to be one. This blog is just a way for me to express my feelings about the books I've read - whether I enjoyed them or not. So don't take it too seriously, okay?
